Wande Coal meets Don Jazzy, uploads Mushin to Mo’Hits on streaming platforms

Wande Coal has regained access to the distribution of his old body of work released in 2009 under Don Jazzy’s defunct Mo’Hits.

Days ago, Don Jazzy melted the hearts of the populace on social media with his respective meetings with his old friends. The meetings were timely enough to complement the message passed through Johnny Drille’s How Are You My Friend?

Don Jazzy had met with Wande Coal, DJ Big N and D’banj. These were old friends he got separated from long ago. The label executive had quoted lyrics from Johnny Drille’s friendship anthem in the caption of the pictures taken with his old friends.

Following the adorable moments with Wande Coal, the latter returned days after to announce the availability of the 2009 Mushin to Mo’Hits album on streaming platforms, to the excitement of his fans who had always demanded he upload the album on DSPs.

Fans who celebrated the album as it climbed to the 5th position on the Nigerian Apple Music Chart, were gleeful that the album was uploaded under Black Diamond Entertainment, Wande Coal’s self owned label. This simply implies, the singer has total control over the royalties to be accrued from the song.

In spite of this, a handful of critics drew attention to the tag of the website known as Jaguda on the songs that make up the album. The presence of the tag on the song simply means Wande Coal lost the original files of the album and only resorted to downloading the album back from the website.
