Portable reacts to Naira Marley assaulting Mohbad

Portable has dropped some reactions to the reports that Naira Marley sent his boys to beat Mohbad up.

Portable, in his usual manner of reacting to cases of feud between two artistes, has released a clip of him composing a song. Some of the song lyrics implore artistes not to rely on people.

About eight hours ago today, Mohbad, one of the artistes signed under Naira Marley’s label establishment, known as Marlian Music, published two different clips of himself at the receiving end of a physical assault he claimed was perpetrated by Naira Marley’s boys.

The singer who was battered with brusies and wounds on his body, claimed he demanded Naira Marley change his manager to another manager who is Naira Marley’s and he was attacked as a result.

At the time the above clips were published by Mohbad, Naira Marley published some tweets making fun of the situation until netizens condemned him for being insensitive. Then, he went live on Instagram to explain what transpired between him and Mohbad.

While confirming Mohbad’s request of a new manager, Naira Marley denied sending thugs to inflict injury on Mohbad. He then claimed Mohbad is a drug abuser and that is why he keeps coming out to report the label each time he lost control to the drugs he takes.

Fans have accused Naira Marley and his label of drug abuse and gross mismanagement of the talents of Mohbad and Zinoleesky. In this conversation, Terri of Starboy, a label owned by Wizkid, has been referenced as a case study of mismanaged talents too.

Naira Marley assured the public that he was in good terms with Mohbad with promises that Mohbad will tender a public apology immediately he returns back to his senses.

It should be noted that Mohbad went live on Instagram in February, this year, to inform the public that if he suddenly loses his life, Naira Marley and his things should be held responsible.

This happened at a time the NDLEA bursted the label house for a reported case of substance abuse. While rumours of the label being a drug pushing vehicle circulated at the time, Naira Marley who was out of the country at that moment flew in immediately to bail Zinoleesky and Mohbad from the clutches of the NDLEA.

The singer would later release pictures of himself and both Zinoleesky and Mohbad to clear the doubts of the fans that things were well within his label.
