Mohbad has received a huge boost in his career following his victory over Naira Marley.
Mohbad, formally signed under Marlian Music, engaged in a serious brawl that led to his label boss, Naira Marley, dehumanizing him on two different occasions.
Subsequently, the singer’s cries for help on the internet saw him break free from the shackles of his record deal with Naira Marley and the Marlian Music setup.
In a Facebook post published on November 28th, 2022, Mohbad announced the establishment of his own record label named Imolenization with a logo that represents his name as light i.e Imole, as he is called in his indigenous language. Mohbad’s publication reads:
A new speed begins; I am so excited to announce to y’all my new record label, “IMOLENIZATION”. Since the beginning, it has been my dream to own a record label and finally the day has come.
