Biography

Wayward is a Nigerian DJ who picked interest in the disc jockey art in 2013 in a place called Ayobo, in Lagos State. He began to mix gradually with the Virtual DJ software on his computer system.

After sometime, he got the opportunity to learn properly from a more senior colleague (DJ Jaywon) in the DJ profession. To further gain mastery and expertise of the art, he enrolled under DJ Kaywise’s academy before beginning his career properly as a professional disc jockey on a high note.

DJ Wayward has played at different highly rated events across Lagos and its neighborhood.

Background

DJ Wayward schooled and grew up in Yaba axis of Lagos State. The disc jockey has also moved from one part of Lagos to the other since he became an adult pursuing a career in the art of disc jockey.

So far in his almost a decade career, the DJ has brought up a number of DJs through teachings and mentorship. Wayward, with his skill and intelligence, is one of the DJs making wonders with Afrobeats and the Amapiano sound across Lagos and its suburbs.
