Brymo loses fans’respect over supposed bigotry

Brymo in the past two weeks has engaged his fans heatedly more than ever.

The presidential election scheduled to take place in February has exposed some celebrities’ thoughts, ideas and sentiments. The likes of P Square have constantly and publicly shown support for Peter Obi, like a lot of other Nigerians.

However, people who show support for Tinubu are constantly slandered for their choice. Brymo is one of them. In the face of the accusation of tribalism, Brymo disrespectfully hits at his fans with words that may not be pardoned by some of them.

Brymo was first accused of being tribalistic for supporting a candidate from his clan in spite of the glaring deficiencies the said politician portrayed. On December 31st, an angry Brymo dropped totally below the populace’s expectation of him as he cited the historical acephalousness of the Igbo community to declare them headless and incapable of leading.

When further questioned provocatively, he ordered fans to stop listening to his music if they do not support his ideologies. Curses soon followed when they fans persisted to point out that his song lyrics and his reality are two contradictory personalities that disappointed the fans.

The last 24 hours was even more heated between Brymo and his fans. Brymo’s new comments have made him more exposed to disrespect and contempt from his fans. A look at the trend ‘Brymo’ on Twitter shows callouts and different insults from fans targeted at Brymo. He has now been labeled a “bigot” for declaring Tinubu “ailing” and still choosing him over his counterpart whom some of his fans think is better. Brymo also claimed the Igbo region is not “safe”. He wrote:

Don’t respect my intelligence nor choices… you are trying to not accept resolve… argue more then… pls …. It is not prudent to elect him yet, he may have to vividly organise his home-front to lead rest of us… an Igbo VP first maybe to test the waters with the region is safer!

He added:

I can’t Believe a whole tribe of people, not up to two people yet came out to say “there’s point in what BrymO is saying”.. instead you all went and found isolated tweets to attack .. fuck you all!..
