Blaqbonez calls Wizkid out over comments about Hip Hop

Blaqbonez has properly addressed Wizkid for his “degrading” comments about rap music.

In a statement published on the internet this afternoon, Blaqbonez acknowledged his love and huge support for Wizkid and how he has always respected the singer.

He mentioned how degrading and disappointing Wizkid’s words and actions were to him and his colleagues in the rap industry. Blaqbonez personally lamented how downgrading Wizkid’s comments were to his Hip Hop craft.

Blaqbonez claimed his anger was not aroused by Wizkid’s controversial interview on 10 magazine, but rather the actions that followed his colleagues’ reactions to Wizkid’s declaration of Hip Hop as “dead”.

Wizkid had taken to Snapchat to call Nigerian rappers “broke boys” when the likes of Erigga and Oladips called him out over his comments about rap.

Blaqbonez stated how he was nearly a fanatic for Wizkid; irrespective of this, the rapper noted that Wizkid’s errors had to be addressed. Therefore, he must express his disappointment at the Afrobeats singer.
